i was supposed to wake up at 3 am but my body naturally woke me up at 2 am. i slept four hours
i packed my shit and we all said goodbye to the dogs and we drove to the airport. when we arrived and were saying goodbye to eachother my mom started crying lol
TSA line was pretty fast, it's just that at dfw airport you have to take your shoes off to go through TSA which is annoying for me because i'm always wearing converse so it takes me forever to put my shoes on
while we were waiting for our luggage to make it through tsa, my mom's luggage got checked out cause of my facial cleanser. we had to throw out a fresh bottle lol rip
when we got to our gate, we had 30 minutes until our flight started boarding so we pretty much made it on time. during that 30 minutes i walked through the airport alone to see if there was any food cause i had'nt eaten any breakfast. the only thing that was open was mcdonalds and the line was huge (it was 4 am)
i always get airport crushes... there was this girl on my flight who was kinda cute. she looked older than me and we made eye contact a lot lol
the flight was nice, not too much turbulence. i listened to the entirety of weezer's blue album while just looking out the window and watching the sunrise. it was beautiful. i ate a bag of goldfish and complimentary american airlines biscuits while listening to the pullout podcast
turns out the plane had free wifi for all t mobile users which was awesome so i was on my phone for a bit toward the end of the flight
while we were approaching new york, we quite literally flew over all 5 boroughs which was an awesome view. i saw the entirety of manhattan from the window and a huge amount of the bronx. saw a bunch of trains on the ground. saw an acs-64 for the first time too which was going literally around the same speed as the plane
we landed and the moment i got off the plane i realized i didn't have my wallet.. i took it out earlier on the plane and we had to wait for everyone to get off the plane so the flight attendants could go in and look for it. they told us that they couldn't find it after that i went to go cancel my cards and right before i do they tell me that they found it lmaoooo. i got it back
took a $70 uber back home with lots of traffic. i hate driving here. if it was my choice i wouldve taken the q70 and just take the subway the rest of the way there. or maybe the LIRR. that would be cool too
arrived home. the house was a mess from my dad living here alone for two weeks. it felt weird. every time i come back here from texas it feels small. probably from living in the big house
i took a 4 hour nap which probably ruined my sleep schedule and was on my computer for the rest of the day with my new headphones
