today was interesting..... it wasn't as bad as i expected but not as great as i expected either
i woke up at around 3:30 and tried to go back to sleep but gave up on it at around 4:30. i woke up and took a shower cuz i forgot to the night before lol. i had originally set my alarm to 5 am
turns out getting up earlier than 5 was a good idea because if i woke up at 5 i would NOT have had enough time to get ready. after the shower i packed all my shit, guitar and the stuff in my backpack. left my house around 6:50
i got on the train and holy shit theres so many more people than last year??? what the fuck..... its been a long time since i last took the train to school because i used to walk my ex to school every day and she kinda lived in the middle of nowhere so i had to take the bus to her house. i dont remember the train being this packed

the room started filling up with strangers quickly. shawn walked in and sat across the table from me with his friend. sammi walked in a few minutes later and sat towards the front next to the teacher. few more minutes later alex walked in and sat next to me and she looked like she was already done with the day lmaooo. this was her first time ever coming to first period sooo
we went through the standard first day procedure where the teacher gives us a contract for us and our parents to sign and he tells us what were gonna be doing in class. pretty boring. he called on all the kids who he didnt know (including alex) and asked them to tell him a few stuff about themselves in italian. when he called on alex and asked her for her age she quietly asked me "how do u say fifteen...." and i told her "quattordici" and she quietly said it to the teacher. lmaooooo
bell rang and i started walking to english w sammi. on the way there on the fifth floor i saw my crush kylie from last year... holy shit wtf..... she looks so different. new piercing and she cut her hair. a lot. she also has glasses now

bell rang and i headed down to the auditorium for band. shiiiit. this is the period i see my ex. i walk in and then she walks in there with her friend?? wtf... anyways i sit down towards the middle and she sits in the front w her friend. turns out her friend is joining. bruh wtf??? i dont have anyone to talk to and she does ðŸ˜
mr lembo goes over stuff for the new freshmen joining the band, pretty much what you'd expect. the auditorium was extremely fucking cold. i was shivering from how cold it was. they had the ac on full fucking blast
pretty boring period. bell rang for period 4. i stayed in the auditorium and my ex is there with her friend ofc because they both also have orchestra. her girlfriend walks in.. LMAOOO bruhhhh shes taking orchestra too im so cooked. im seriously debating dropping orchestra after this shit ngl
as an ice breaker mr mikulka decided to make us play hide and seek with the old members of the orchestra. i got caught pretty much instantly along with everyone else. the challenge was the person who found us is supposed to ask us a question so this girl asked me if i play any instruments and i said guitar and she was like ok cool
SHIT period ughhhh anyways period 5 bell rings. health on the 4th floor. i walk up and enter the class and my asian friend who idk the name of is in the class. i sit next to him. ella is in the class too. she waves to me with a smile and i wave back. thought i wouldn't interact with her ever again lmao. few minutes later the teacher gives us assigned seats so i sit in a table of strangers uuuughhhhhhhh. seems like a chill and easy class though. he went over everything and gave us the contract
6th period bell rang, guitar ensemble, lets go. walked up and immediately dapped up carlos omw in. i took out my jazzmaster and we both started talking about what we practiced over the summer. lit period. chill people too. i knew some of the people there, dan was also in the class
7th period bell rang, me and dan walked to lunch together and spent the lunch period together. we hung out almost every day during lunch in first semester freshman year so it was awesome to be back. kylie was also sitting across the table from us which is exactly what we did in first semester freshman year lmaooo. dan was also shocked at how different she looked. shes sitting alone this year though. kinda feel bad. maybe we should talk to her. actually maybe not. idk. ill talk to dan about it
8th period bell rang, chemistry. i walked in and MAX is in my class yoooo. and hes sitting next to some girl ive never seen before. max literally FORGETS my name and hes like "bro whats ur name again i deadass forgot" and im like "wow okay MAX" and the girl next to him starts laughing.. shes chill af. her name is leslie. we all got along pretty well. nice teacher too, ms. li. adriana is also in my class and is sitting across the room from me. maria is also in my class??? what........ anyways we all talk alot and it was a great period. i talked a lot periods 6-8. also apparently got into honors chem lol. awesome
9th period, global. i walk in and the class is packed and i dont know anyone lmfao. i walk around and i see jayden at the front of the class omg. the seat next to him is empty and he points at the board telling me theres a seating chart and im like bruuuu but after a while of looking, my name isnt on the seating chart. i sit next to jayden anyway. also apparently got global honors lmfao. the teacher is chill. i talked to jayden about whats going on in band and stuff. cool class but its packed as shit i dont really like it but whatever
last period is geometry i go to the class and i dont know ANYONE bruh worst fucking class. i dont even recognize anyone. this is pd 10 geometry so its mostly new freshmen. bruh what the fuck. i sit the whole period doing the icebreaker and the teacher makes me talk to the girl next to me. i was too exhausted for any of this cause i had been awake for so long atp i just wanna go home and i stayed mostly quiet
dreadful class but the bell rang and i hopped on the train home. the train was early so i litearlly had to sprint to the train but i made it after running through the big ass crowd with my big ass guitar. got off and took the bus which was packed as fuck also
got home and didn't take a nap because i wanna fix my sleep schedule and i know i will screw it tf up if i take a nap
i spent the rest of the day doing pretty much nothing. my windows install was getting REALLY fucking slow so i decided to factory reset. echnobas suggested me to get windows 10 iot ltsc enterprise edition. got it, very very debloated. like very debloated. this is awesome. i uninstalled microsoft edge. install is still pretty empty
i tried zed and its pretty mid ngl. it took 20 minutes to compile. i prefer vsc still but tbf i think zed is still in beta so whatever. i tried to do this journal entry on zed but it suxxx ngl so i downloaded vsc
the second half of the first day of school is such a surreal feeling. its like the realization that its not so bad but its not gonna get any better. welp ill update you guys tomorrow on how it goes. its 10:30 and im gonna take my melatonin. goob night
