pretty normal morning. wasn't hungry at all tbh cause i made myself popcorn right before i went to bed but forced myself to finish a small bowl of cereal anyways cuz i knew i would be hungry later in the day
1st period we just worked on the project and in 2nd period we continued on dreaming in cuban and worked on some worksheets. school is finally becoming actual schoolwork 😠its gonna be like this for the next 5 months
theres a girl who keeps looking at me in italian and we've been making eye contact more and more often every day. shes kinda pretty ig..... idk. i would have to get to know her more first
in band today we got set up and mr lembo gave out the sheet to everyone for enter sandman. my guitar kept going out of tune, im assuming because of the broken machine head that i decided to bring to school. also the song is transposed into d minor instead of e minor (i think the original song is in em) so i just capoed the first fret. i was still playing the riff on frets 5 and 7 though so it sounded pretty fucked but i got the hang of it eventually. i flopped on the first try playing lool
orchestra was fine mr mikulka divided us into the 3 groups again and i was alone urghhhh violin is pretty fun though. i asked this girl to borrow her rosin and she was nice about it maybe im making friends aghrhghs
health was normal ensemble was normal. i played an acoustic in ensemble instead of my jmaster because it was pretty fucked up also my amp was still dead. i forgot to charge it and also forgot to bring a usb c charger lmfao
lunch went as usual me and dan complained about our classes to eachother
in chem we learned about the metric system n how to convert values from powers of 10. i finished everything first and the teacher said she's gonna put me into honors next semester. honors chem sounds awesome ngl. but idk. we haven't learned any actual chemistry yet so idk if im gonna want to be in honors or not
geometry was booring same shit as usual same with global. mr vargas tried to force my group to talk to eachother. i know the guy who sits next to me kinda like we talk about the work sometimes in class but its only smalltalk. vargas dragged this girl named dana and made a group of 3 with us and tried to get us to work together but we just didnt. none of us wanted to talk to any new ppl lol. i finished everything on my own
omw to the train station after 10th period i saw this girl who looked exactly like dasny. i didnt get too good of a look but im 80% sure it was her. wtf is she doing at my high school? shes still in 8th grade. we made eye contact and also did the thing where we turn back and look at eachother again after passing. i think it was her. she was smiling too. she was friends with all my exes back then. ive been seeing so many people from back then. first her and now joey. this shit is weird as fuck, especially after all the shit that happened after i broke up with the girls i dated back then

one of my homework assignments was to read a chapter of dreaming in cuban and i procrastinated reading it for like a whole hour and eventually grabbed the book and went to my room without my phone to read it. it was actually pretty interesting and not as bad as i expected it to be. it was relaxing. the chapter i read was the part about pilar leaving new york and taking the bus back home to cuba. i like the book its just that period 2 is way too fucking early for english man
